"Taste of Mendocino, first time with these terrific wines, nose of orange, lemon, blackberry, slate, shale, and floral notes, same on the palate, medium/big body, very tasty, almost elegant, good acid provides a crisp backbone, and a long, lovely finish, purchased a bottle on the spot."

"Green apple, sweet cherry and orange blossom on the nose. Similar to taste, but with spice notes. Crisp acid, smooth. Very nice. "

"Medium rose with an orange tinge. Dry with crisp fruit, apple and oranges, some pithy tannins and a slatey mineral element. I would put this more in the Provencal than Spanish rosé class. Some glycerin and just a slight touch of rs balancing the acid give a smooth mouth feel. Very good and will have this with Easter ham dinner."
The Written Palette - Cori Solomon
"Theopolis Vineyards Rosé of Petit Sirah 2014: Unique because of the variety chosen. This Rosé displays one of the most gorgeous ruby colors. You almost think you are drinking a very light red wine but the refreshing crisp textures of Rosé come through. One finds aromas of cinnamon and roses with flavors of cranberry, peach, nectarine and apple. This is a luscious Rosé."
