2nd Annual International Winemakers Summit

2nd Annual International Winemakers Summit

The Urban Connoisseurs International Winemakers Summit brings winemakers from around the world to one platform.

About this event

Urban Connoisseurs is doing it again! Join us for a Virtual Experience in Wine. The 2nd Annual International Winemakers Summit (IWS) will be virtual due to the current rise in COVID-19 cases and updated state regulations.

The Urban Connoisseurs 2nd Annual International Winemakers Summit is an opportunity for attendees to meet and learn about winemakers of African descent from around the world. This year, we’ll talk about the State of the Winemaking industry as it relates to these winemakers. IWS offers attendees further acknowledgement of how diverse the wine industry is and growing, and why diversity matters and should be supported.

Attendees will register to join sessions virtually where select winemakers will share their wine journey and talk about the various varietals they have in the portfolio. Discussions will include climate change, smoke taint, fires, and how harvest has been affected. We’ll also discuss how the pandemic has impacted revenue, online sales, wine club marketing, and the tasting room. Of course, we’ll also discuss wine, the various varietals produced by these winemakers and why they choose what they choose.

Guests will have an opportunity to visit winemakers’ online booths (to be created with banner showing website link).

Guests can also purchase our 12 pack wine option for $350 (a $547 value) plus shipping, as well have a chance to wine a genuine leather 2 bottle wine bag, and other exclusive wines.
