Afro Wine Week South Africa (AWWSA) 2025

September 5th-13th, 2025

Cape Town, South Africa

Afro Wine Week SA:

Building Wealth and Inclusion in a Global Wine Industry

AWWSA is an action-driven summit focused on creating wealth and opportunity for people of color in the global wine industry. We aim to identify solutions and address key challenges across the entire wine value chain. The summit is endorsed by SA Wine and Wines of South Africa (WOSA) and integrates with Cape Wine, their bi-annual international trade show.

Importantly, AWWSA is committed to giving back. Our beneficiary partners are Pinotage Youth Development Academy and The Roots Fund. A portion of our proceeds will directly support initiatives providing invaluable mentorship and exposure to their scholars during the conference.

Our local media partner is https://wine.co.za/

● Focus on People of Color: Addressing the unique challenges and opportunities faced by people of color, from vineyard to market.
