91 Points - BESTDAMNCAB LIKES THIS WINE

“Paired with Smoker Salmon today, nose of lemon, slate and shale, and lots of floral notes, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, great in this 100 degree summer weather, and a long, crisp finish.”

88 Points - DSGRIS LIKES THIS WINE

“Crystal clear with a slight lemon tinge. Distinctive nose of herbs and resin. Dry with fairly evident resinous note along with slatey mineral. Better accompanying some spicy food, in this case pulled pork with vinegar sauce. there are plenty of bones for this to age well. Some underlying acid and rs to balance the fruit, peaches and ripe melon. On night two, marked improvement with not much resin on the nose, lemon zest. Losing the resin flavors, dry limestone mineral, medium body and fruit, a touch of acid enhances and balances the light lingering bitter, ripe lemons, melon, works well with food. Grilled halibut and rice tonight, getting good but best give another year.”

89 Points - WINE ENTHUSIAST

“This is an excellent dry and light-bodied wine from a relatively new grape variety that is often made sweet. Honey and orange zest waft up from the glass, while crisp white peach and white pepper highlight the flavors. This will be a fun wine to serve blind and stump your friends.”
